Pastor Harris

Serves as the Lead Pastor responsible for preaching and teaching. He is married to the lovely Anita and they have three children Isaiah, Abigail, and Gabrielle. In addition to serving Mt. Zion, Pastor Harris works as a software engineer at IBM. He is passionate about making disciples and loves technology, theology, science fiction, and chocolate.

Elder Bullock

Oversees the Deacons and Deaconess, Special Events, and serves as the church administrator.  He is married to Marcia, his charming hometown sweetheart, and from their union, they have two married sons and two grandsons. Wayne firmly believes God planted him at Mt. Zion where his spiritual gifts would be used. Outside of his ministry calling, he enjoys movies and playing golf.

Elder Cherry

Oversees Christian Education, Discipleship, Missions, and the Security ministries. He is married to his college sweetheart Angelique and they have two beautiful daughters, Britney and Kristen.  He loves learning and teaching the Word of God, mentoring young men, cooking, playing golf, and officiating high school and college football.

Elder Dunn

Oversees Worship, Hospitality, Care, and the MarkITMedia ministries. He is married to his passionate “Ministry Mate” the lovely Tracy and they have one daughter, Tikayla and two sons, DomiNick and William. He embraces all opportunities to be a student and teacher of God’s life-changing truths. He serves in the mission field as an IT Manager for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission but enjoys in his leisure time watching movies, cycling, and playing softball.

Elder Harrison

He works for the Va Medical Center as a Gastrointestinal Technician. Elder Harrison is married to his beautiful wife Jacquelyn. He loves to share why Jesus is the center of his life, marriage, and home.

Elder Lucas

Wilbur Lee Lucas peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 4, 2018. He was a long time member of Mt. Zion. He had served as a Deacon from 1986 to 1996 and he was ordained as an Elder in 1997. He is survived by his lovely wife Janice Lucas, three children, and four grandchildren.
